SOLOT, é um projecto de bateria a solo. O momento e a sonoridade da sala são tão importantes para a música como qualquer outro fator.
A memória actua como um eixo entre o músico e o ouvinte. A atenção, a recordação, a percepção o a vibração do ar são elementos de qualquer acontecimento musical, e neste projecto trabalha-se estes elementos sem uma hierarquia pré-estabelecida.
O que há que entender? O que há que escutar? O que há que saber? São tudo perguntas que frequentemente nos fazem, e provavelmente não têm uma resposta. A resposta somos nós mesmos, a partir da memória da experiência do momento vivido, como uma semente num terreno fértil, que com o passar do tempo vai crescendo e transformando-se entre o esquecimento e a recordação.

SOLOT, is a drum solo project. The moment and the sonority of the room are as important for the music as any other factor.
The memory acts like an axis between the musician and the listener. The attention, the memory, the perception and the vibration of the air are elements of any musical event, and in this project these elements are worked out without a predetermined hierarchy.
What is there to understand? What is there to listen? What is there to know? These are all questions that people usually ask, and probably there is not an answer for them. The answer is ourselves, from the memory of the experience of the living moment, as a seed in fertile ground, which grows, throughout the time, transforming itself between oblivion and remembrance.
