“My artistic work is primarily influenced by my environment. For my field studies, I mainly use objets trouvés, but I also work with photographs and drawings which I use as a reference for my skulptures. In this my focus is mainly on structures that can be found both in nature and in humanmade habitats.
I continued this work in Montemor. The unfamiliar surroundings gave me a lot of new input. The residency itself allowed me to have space and time to develop this work.”
