Criação de uma pequena série de cerâmica que se irá relacionar com ambiente local, o foco artístico está nas estruturas que podem ser encontradas tanto na natureza como em habitats criados pelo homem.

“As part of the artist residency in Montemor-o-novo, I would like to create a small ceramic series that stands for itself and as well is integrated into my entire artistic work. I would like to deal thematically with the local environment. In a field study, I will use sketchbook and camera to capture impressions of my temporary new space. My artistic focus is on the structures that can be found both in nature and in humanmade habitats. Based on the collected inspirations, I would like to develop various objects made of clay. These will undergo a transformation in the creative process that is characterized by playful chance. I also want to encounter the clay uninhibited and work with it in unconventional ways. Often I work with unfired clay by polishing, carving or sanding it after it has dried. The perspective is exploratory, experimental, questioning, playful. Although the series stands on its own, I will continue to pursue the working method of field study. And so the series created in Montemor-o-novo will be shown as part of a larger work in Dresden in July 2025.”
